Sonoma Valley’s Ledson Winery and Vineyards (www.ledson.com) is pleased to announce the Annual Art Show Weekend at the Ledson Castle on Highway 12. Linda Bones, Dee Andreini and Guglielmo Bertetta will have work on display in the parlor the weekend of Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Small bites will be available in the parlor and sandwiches and salads are for sale in the Gourmet Marketplace.

Linda Bones started painting in 1989 and hasn't stopped since. She has taken many workshops from well-known artists from all over the country and adopted something from each to make it her own. Linda has painted everything from seascapes to old barns. She also does what she calls “reverse realism” - explosive colorful backgrounds with such images as a vineyard inside a goblet, wine bottles with vineyards, grapes and anything “wine country.” Linda stills loves doing traditional art, but going a little out of the zone is most exciting to her.

Drawing and painting have always been an integral part of Dee Andreini's life. Born in San Francisco, and raised in a small town in beautiful Northern California, she has lived in and enjoyed nature's wonders all her life. Through her sensitive application and accomplished understanding of acrylic and oil mediums, she captures the softness of a waterfall, the spirit of trees, or the freedom of soaring birds as if seen in a dream. Miss Andreini received her Fine Arts Degree at California State College of Sonoma where the emphasis was on self-expression. She has continued her self-expression and creativity enhanced by the many sites she has seen throughout Europe and the United States. People have used words like romantic, ethereal, dynamic, expressive, soothing and personal to describe her work.

Guglielmo Bertetta and Steve Ledson are cousins and share a keen interest in growing wine grapes and making fine wine. They are often together in the vineyards during the growing and harvest seasons. Steve concentrates on winemaker interests while Guglielmo absorbs the unique artistic vistas offered in vineyards from dawn to sunset. Steve and Guglielmo’s relationship transcends the time honored skills of winemaking and landscape painting. Bertetta’s art pieces are limited edition giclee reproductions on artist grade canvas. Giclee, a French term meaning “to spray,” embraces the best qualities of digital photography, digital printing and high quality inks to produce a rendering with continuous tones and vivid colors unparalleled by any other print form.
